Photon Scattering (2021)
Compton scattering, discovered by Arthur Holly Compton, is the scattering of a photon after an interaction with a charged particle, normally an electron. If this results in a decrease in energy (increase in wavelength) of the photon (which may be an X-ray or gamma ray photon), it is called the Compton effect. This piece is an abstract representation of this concept.

Eye for the Blind (2015)
There have been many theories in science fiction and other mediums over the years as to how we can allow blind people to see properly. I constructed a 3D model of a fictional prosthetic eye mechanism that gives sight to the blind. It is modeled to scale of an actual human and was digitally fabricated at The Ohio State University in 2015.

Galactic Filament (2021)
Galaxy filaments are massive, thread-like formations of gravitationally bound galaxies forming the boundaries between large voids in the universe. The discovery of these structures began in the late 1980s and we have now mapped our entire observable universe through deeper understanding of these formations over the years.
War for the Dawn (2017)
A retrospective video piece based HBOs Game of Thrones series. It examines themes present in the show such as prophecy, power, divinity, and morality. This was created in 2017 before the famously underwhelming final season ever aired on HBO.

Generative Singularity (2021)
Using JavaScript based IDE "Processing" I developed and modified a script to produce different abstract variations of how a gravitational singularity could look. This is a location in spacetime where the density and gravitational field of a celestial body is predicted to become infinite by general relativity in a way that does not depend on the coordinate system. This is one out of the many generated outcomes from my script.
The Way Out Is Through (2016)
A video piece intended to be viewed while wearing diffraction glasses in a completely dark setting. Displayed publicly at Urban Arts Space in downtown Columbus, Ohio in 2016. Einstein's theory of general relativity predicts that every object bends light rays through its gravity. This effect is called gravitational lensing. The video explores abstract ways of thinking about and perceiving the effect of gravitational lensing on various objects, shapes, and colors.

Gamma Ray Origin Point (2021)
Gamma rays are produced by the hottest and most energetic objects in the universe, such as neutron stars and pulsars, supernova explosions, and regions around black holes. On Earth, gamma waves are generated by nuclear explosions, lightning, and the less dramatic activity of radioactive decay. This piece is an abstract representation of a supernova birthing gamma ray radiation.

Expansion (2014)
An ongoing Cinema4D project that aims to visualize how over eons of time galactic filaments form the cosmic web structures we see in the observable universe. This model was uploaded to Oculus VR software to allow the viewer to move throughout the 3D space and see different aspects of the structure.

Deadliest Wars (2014)
Deadliest Wars is a data visualization project that shows the number of lives lost in the top ten all-time deadliest wars of human history in comparison with each other. The spires coming off the the bullet shaped 3D printed sculpture are configured to an exact length. That length correlates to the death toll from each war giving the viewer an accurate comparison between the events.
