Carter Hanson is an amateur astronomer and visual artist currently living in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Carter received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art & Technology from The Ohio State University in 2016. Students and faculty in this research area engage the meaning and material of science and technology through the production of interactive installations, electronic objects and interfaces, moving images, 3D modeling and animation, digital imaging, rapid prototyping, holography, internet art, sound, and emerging forms. Carter also studied graphic design at Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2011-2013. He loves observing astronomical objects visually as well as photographing the night sky and is a member of the Minnesota Astronomical Society. Outside of creating artwork, he also enjoys playing drums, fishing, golfing, gaming, and travel.
